Oriole Independent Artists (OIA) is an e-commerce company, the main purpose of which is to provide a distribution platform for the promotion of new “art” music, contemporary classics, fine literature, pictures & photos and independent musicians & artists primarily via the Internet.

OIA is an international network of musicians, composers, independent labels, and business partners. We bring together the collective talent of independent artists from around the world to form a community of artists and music enthusiasts that may have otherwise not gotten to know each other.

Oriole Independent Artist's mission is to help creative contemporary artists, authors, and ensembles have the opportunity to be heard, and to help them spread their message globally, all the while respecting their rights.

Creative, innovative match-making is our shared goal, in ways that fully embrace technological advances.

We take active measures to insure that all music distributed in the collection is licensed, owned, or co-owned by Oriole Independent Artists. This is guaranteed by a series of pre-distribution contracts signed between OIA and its partners, labels, and independent artists, and random sample verifications of licenses granted to us.

ORIOLE RECORDINGS

In addition to the guarantee that independent artists and labels whose music is sold on Oriole Collection (on-line mp3 music store), receive royalties that are due to them, Oriole's recording division (Oriole Recordings) offers artists a 21st century solution to their recording needs.

By using Oriole Recordings to create a demo song or a professional-quality recording for distribution, artists have more artistic and personal freedom.

Oriole Recordings is firmly established in today's musical world. Rather than concern ourselves with earning large financial gains weighed upon the financial risks of producing CDs or other "hard" formats, Oriole Recordings focuses on the music. This is possible, since we only produce digital recordings - thus eliminating the financial crutch of pressing records or manufacturing compact discs.

Therefore, Oriole Recordings is able to allow the artist to express himself as fully as possible, without worrying foremost of how much the music will make. OIA likes to believe that a love song is about love, not about optimized record sales.

ORIOLE GALLERY

The third department, Oriole Gallery is a virtual picture and photo gallery with exhibitions of talented contemporary artists and photographers, supplied with detailed information about painters and photographers, presented in the collection. In that way OIA presents to general public both known and new names in contemporary art. When selecting works for the Oriole Art collection, we are guided first of all by its artistic quality.
